With every new undertaking, you should take the time to split it in half. Pick the good side and dismiss the other half. Then do it again. Split again in halves, take the better part and dismiss the rest. Maybe try even a third time. Can you do it even a few times more?

Halving helps you understand why you do what you do. You might use the dismissed halves later, but for now you need to get to the essence.

Split, split, split. Find the base, the essential, the core. See if it’s worth it. Does it measure to your being? Is it meant for you to do? Do you need the dismissed halves or is the core sufficient?

Many times you will find the essence is all you need. Keep this splitting mechanism in mind in all your activities. Split, clear, grasp.
