Poetry can have plenty of meaning. Maybe even an overwhelming amount. It isn’t literality that conveys meaning. But wholeheartedness.

You need to commit to what you mean. Then you can say it, in whatever form or shape you prefer. Say it through poetry, try storytelling, perhaps through the form of a dream. But say it fully and concretely. Words are powerful. Do not dare underestimate them. Each and all of the words you utter have the power to save or damn you and the world along with you.
