You might be stressed about all the things you want to do. You might want to rush it.

But rushing it will create consequences you don’t want to have. It will worsen the experience, limit the joy, even worsen the quality of the thing.

Instead, reduce your speed and go at a leisurely pace.

Take things slowly, one at a time. Go through your book at a comfortable speed. Wash the dishes in a calm state. Go for a walk and enjoy it fully. Do your job with a present mind. Spend time with your loved ones as if there was no time.

Simply be there.

Act as if you have time. Because you do. It’s a good thing you can’t do too many things at once. It helps you choose better, be more focused, be more useful and be happier.

Don’t try to do the opposite.
